From a young age, he was passionate about fragrances, unconcerned with the judgments of others regarding his interests, which differed from those of most boys. His father disapproved of his passion, but he was stubborn enough to express his desires. He read many books about fragrances from around the world and developed a desire to create a plan for a future perfume business. Determined not to let his father control his life, he eventually announced his ambition to make money.His mother fully supported him, while his father remained more of a bystander. To avoid eroding his father’s trust in him, he deliberately kept many incidents hidden. To demonstrate his academic achievements, he traveled to various countries, seeking inspiration and education before starting his career.Upon returning to Manchester, he outlined the initial steps for building his business. He requested several things from his parents, such as funding and connections to people who could assist him. To prevent his father from interfering too closely with his work, he stated his intention to establish the business in Switzerland. They made a pact: if the business did not thrive, his father would withdraw all support. His father agreed and was serious about this from the very beginning.
